A one-on-one match between La Parka and Jack Cartwheel took place in Querétaro, Mexico, on February 14, 2026, as part of the Lucha Libre AAA event broadcast on FOX, according to reports from multiple wrestling news outlets.

The event, held at Auditorio José María Arteaga in Santiago de Querétaro, also featured a match to determine the number one contenders for the AAA World Tag Team Championship, pitting The War Raiders against The Money Machine and Los Americanos. A women’s match saw Las Tóxicas face off against Faby Apache, Jessy Jackson, and Adelicious.

La Parka, whose real name is Jesús Alfonso Huerta Escoboza, competed in AAA from the mid-1990s until 2019. Huerta died on January 11, 2020, at the age of 54, from complications stemming from injuries sustained in a match in October 2019. Prior to performing as La Parka, Huerta wrestled under several other ring names, including Bello Sexy, Maligno, and La Parka Jr. He was posthumously inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame in 2020.

The current La Parka is the third wrestler to portray the character. AAA introduced Brazo de Oro Jr. As the latest La Parka on March 22, 2025. The original La Parka was Adolfo Tapia, who was later known as L.A. Park after Huerta was billed as the “official” La Parka in 2003.

The February 14th event was available for viewing on YouTube, according to reports.
