by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor

PlayStation will hold its first major presentation of 2026 this Thursday, February 12, offering a first look at upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusives. The “State of Play” broadcast will detail games slated for release in the coming months, according to a PlayStation.Blog post confirmed by multiple news outlets.

The hour-long presentation, as reported by Polygon, will focus on both first- and third-party titles. Viewers in Mexico City can tune in at 4:00 PM local time via the PlayStation YouTube channel. The broadcast will also be available to audiences across Latin America at the following times: Guatemala (4:00 PM), Colombia and Ecuador (5:00 PM), Peru (5:00 PM), Bolivia, Venezuela, and Chile (6:00 PM), and Argentina (6:00 PM).

While the event promises a range of PS5 exclusives, one highly anticipated title, Marvel’s Wolverine, will not be featured. Insomniac Games, the studio developing the game, announced via X (formerly Twitter) that updates on Wolverine will be shared in the spring. Despite this absence, the State of Play is expected to provide key details on other upcoming releases.

Currently confirmed PS5 exclusives with release windows include Marathon, scheduled for March 5th, and Saros, set to launch on April 30th. Marvel’s Wolverine and Marvel Tokon are both still slated for release sometime in 2026, though specific dates remain unconfirmed.

PlayStation LifeStyle cautioned that expectations should be tempered, but the February State of Play remains a crucial event for understanding the immediate future of PlayStation’s game lineup. The presentation will reveal which titles will define the first half of the year and highlight the brand’s upcoming key releases.
