Princess Anne was present as Italy’s Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner defeated Great Britain 5-3 in mixed doubles curling at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics on Monday, securing the bronze medal for Italy.
The Princess, who turned 75 this year, has become a notable presence at the Games, drawing attention for her style. She was photographed wearing Adidas wrap-around sunglasses with ombré orange lenses, a choice that has generated significant social media praise. The sunglasses, described by online reviewers as suitable for both running and “raves with strobe lights,” were paired with an insulated blue Adidas jacket.
This appearance follows a weekend where Princess Anne’s image was displayed on the big screen at Rome’s Olympic Stadium during the Six Nations rugby match between Italy and Scotland, where she received a warm reception from the crowd.
Stefania Constantini, Italy’s curler, is a hometown hero at the Games, competing in Cortina d’Ampezzo, a location she is familiar with. Constantini and her teammate Amos Mosaner previously wowed the curling community at the Beijing 2022 Games in the mixed doubles competition, according to the World Curling Federation.
Constantini’s performance has been a focal point for Italian fans, as she aims to build on her success and potentially secure a gold medal for the host nation. Italy defeated Sweden in the opening round of the Olympic Winter Games on February 11, 2026.
