This appearance follows a weekend where Princess Anne’s image was displayed on the big screen at Rome’s Olympic Stadium during the Six Nations rugby match between Italy and Scotland, where she received a warm reception from the crowd.
Stefania Constantini, Italy’s curler, is a hometown hero at the Games, competing in Cortina d’Ampezzo, a location she is familiar with. Constantini and her teammate Amos Mosaner previously wowed the curling community at the Beijing 2022 Games in the mixed doubles competition, according to the World Curling Federation.
