Seattle Police Ask Public to Identify Stabbing Suspects in U District

Seattle Police⁣ seek Public’s Help identifying Suspects in⁣ June U District Stabbing

The Seattle Police⁤ Department (SPD) is requesting the‌ public’s assistance ⁢in identifying two suspects involved in a fatal stabbing that occurred in Seattle’s University District in June 2023. Detectives continue ‌to investigate the incident adn⁢ believe‍ the individuals pictured‌ in surveillance footage may ​have data about⁤ the crime.

On June 23, 2023, officers responded to ⁣reports of a stabbing ⁣near the intersection of University Way NE and NE 45th Street. Upon⁣ arrival, they found a 26-year-old male with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to ‍harborview Medical Center, ⁢where he‌ later died. The ‌SPD released surveillance images of two individuals they believe ‌are persons of interest ⁣in the case. Investigators are asking anyone who recognizes these individuals, ⁤or who has information about the stabbing, to‌ contact​ the Seattle Police Department.

Anyone with information is asked‌ to call the SPD Violent Crimes‌ Task Force at (206) 233-5050. Tipsters can also remain anonymous by using the SPD’s online tip form or calling Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

This⁤ remains an active investigation. The SPD is‍ committed to bringing those responsible for this crime ⁤to justice ‌and appreciates the public’s help ‍in identifying the suspects.
