JD Sports Opens New Store in Fargo’s West acres shopping Center
FARGO — JD Sports, a global retailer specializing in sports fashion and outdoor brands, has officially opened its doors in the West Acres Shopping Center.
Founded in 1981 in Bury, England, by John Wardle and David Makin as John David Sports, the company has grown from a single store to a network of over 4,800 locations across 49 countries.
JD Sports offers a wide range of popular brands, including Nike, Puma, Jordan, The North Face, New Balance, Vans, Birkenstock, and UGG.
The new store,located across from Claire’s,opened on Saturday,Jan. 24. West Acres COO Alissa Adams expressed excitement about the addition, stating, “We’re excited to welcome JD Sports to west Acres. They bring a fun energy to our retail mix, a vibrant in-store experience and an excellent assortment of footwear and apparel for women, men and kids.”
