The announcement follows months of alleged attempts by anti-government elements to undermine the embassy’s operations through the spread of false details on social media, particularly in the wake of protests outside the embassy building.This is not the first instance of such efforts to disrupt the mission’s activities, according to the statement.
London’s Metropolitan Police previously confirmed the arrest of 14 individuals who had gathered in front of the embassy, charging them with public disorder offenses, as reported by Iran’s state news agency, IRNA [IRNA].
