Montgomery police are searching for a suspect following a shooting during a robbery on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. the incident occurred at a business in the 300 block of Eastern Boulevard around 8:30 p.m.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, officers responded to reports of a robbery in progress and found that a suspect had discharged a firearm.No injuries were reported. Investigators determined that the suspect fled the scene before police arrived. WSFA 12 News first reported on the incident.
Police describe the suspect as a Black male. Thay have not yet released further details regarding the suspect’s age, height, or clothing. The department is reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to gather more details.
