Details on ⁣Elayna Black’s TNA Contract –⁢ New details have emerged regarding Elayna Black’s status with TNA Wrestling following her on-screen debut on Thursday’s premiere ⁣episode ⁢of ⁢Impact on AMC. According to Fightful Select,⁢ Black (FKA Cora Jade in NXT) is officially signed to the company and will be a full-time member of the ‌TNA roster moving‌ forward. The report ⁣states that Black has agreed to a one-year contract that is⁤ set to run through 2026.

Black’s debut marked her first appearance in a major‌ promotion‌ after stepping away from professional wrestling for several months. She had‌ been absent from the ring following a ⁤self-imposed sabbatical that began in mid-2025. Prior to her ‍time away, Black was best known to WWE audiences ⁣under⁤ the name ⁤Cora Jade during her run in NXT. During ‍that stint, ⁢she captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship and was positioned as‌ one of the brand’s rising stars.

In May of last year,WWE released Jade as part of a broader round of talent cuts that included several main roster and NXT performers. After her 90-day ⁤non-compete clause expired, she returned to action on the⁣ autonomous scene. Those appearances continued into July,‍ at which point she made the⁤ decision to step away from wrestling entirely to ‍focus ⁣on her personal well-being.

At the time, Black publicly addressed her decision, explaining the reasons behind the hiatus. “It’s‍ no longer good for my mental health and I’ll never know if that love for‌ it I once had will return if I don’t step away,” she said. “I’m gonna take the ‍rest of the year to take care of‍ me and go from there.”

Her return to television came with added significance on Impact, as Black was introduced by daria Rae, ‍formerly known⁤ as sonya Deville. Moments⁤ earlier in the broadcast, Rae had been established as a new⁤ authority ⁢figure on TNA programming, immediately linking Black’s ⁤arrival to a major storyline presence.
