A former AEW wrestler made a surprise appearance in TNA.
KJ Orso, who previously wrestled as the masked fuego del Sol, was the mystery fourth participant in a four-way match for the International title. This match took place during the Genesis pre-show on Saturday.He didn’t win the title, losing after taking a piledriver from Eric Young and being pinned by champion Stacks, who than threw Young out of the ring.
Commentators mentioned during the match that this wasn’t Orso’s first time in TNA. He had wrestled as Fuego del Sol on a Twitch stream back in 2019.
Orso left AEW in 2023 and has continued wrestling on the self-reliant circuit, including for GCW. He wrestled for GCW after his TNA appearance on Saturday. Last year, he lost a mask vs. career match against Atticus Cogar at Joey Janela’s Spring Break event during WrestleMania weekend.
