Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the first teaser trailer for “The Bluff,” a thrilling new action-adventure film set to premiere on February 25th. The movie promises a swashbuckling tale of redemption and protection in the high-stakes world of 19th-century Caribbean piracy.

“The Bluff” centers around Ercell Bodden, a former pirate attempting to leave her dangerous past behind and build a peaceful life with her family. However, her efforts are threatened when figures from her previous life resurface, forcing her to confront her history and fight to protect those she loves.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas delivers a compelling performance as Ercell Bodden, the protagonist grappling with a shadowed past. She is joined by Karl Urban, portraying Captain Connor, a formidable pirate driven by a long-held vendetta against Ercell. Their dynamic promises a captivating clash of wills and a thrilling central conflict.

The supporting cast includes Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, temuera Morrison, Zack Morris, David Field, and Pacharo mzembe, each contributing to the rich tapestry of characters inhabiting this historical adventure.

Directed by Frank E. Flowers, known for his work on “Swallow,” “The Bluff” underwent a significant progress journey. Originally slated for Netflix with Zoe Saldana in the lead role, the project found a new home at Amazon Prime Video.saldana remains involved as an executive producer, lending her experience to the production. Principal photography took place in Australia during mid-2024.
