Title: Fargo Park District Hack – Operations Continue

The‌ Fargo Park District confirmed a cybersecurity incident disrupted operations last month, ⁤officials announced Friday, December⁣ 5. While the full extent of the breach remains under investigation, the ⁣district reports no ⁤current interruptions to programs, services, or facility access.

The‍ incident, first detected on October 27, impacted the Park District’s phone, email,​ and internal systems. According to⁤ a district⁢ statement, staff immediately worked to secure ​systems and are ‍collaborating⁣ wiht forensic specialists and legal⁢ counsel to ​determine if any personal information was compromised. ‍Individuals potentially affected will ‌be notified‌ and offered support services as required by law, provided the forensic review confirms⁣ a data breach.

“We want the community to know we’re taking this very ⁤seriously,” said Fargo Parks Executive Director Susan Faus. “We‍ have focused every ⁣effort on restoring operations safely and are working with experts to identify the extent of the incident.”
