Erie Residents Can access Free Winter Clothing This ⁢Saturday at‌ St. Paul’s

ERIE, PA – As temperatures plummet,⁤ St. Paul’s Community Outreach Group will host its annual free winter clothing distribution event ‍this Saturday, offering a vital resource for Erie residents preparing ⁤for the cold months ahead. The event, open to all, aims‌ to provide warm clothing to men, women, and children, with no requirements or questions asked.

The⁣ distribution addresses a growing need for winter essentials in⁤ the Erie community, especially as local day shelters report a surge in demand due ⁢to the‌ dropping ⁤temperatures. St. Paul’s focuses specifically⁣ on providing ⁣winter wear, recognizing the immediate need ⁣for coats,⁤ hats, ⁢and gloves as December begins.

“We really focus on ⁤the winter ⁢clothing.Everything that is here should be pretty much winter clothing, as we realize on the frist Saturday of ‍December, that’s what folks ‌need and that’s what they’re going to line up ⁣in the ‌cold to get,” explained Tim⁤ Nowakowski,‍ Community Outreach president.‌

Attendees can also expect a ⁤free hot lunch, including hot dogs, ⁤sloppy⁤ Joes, and pizza, ⁣alongside coffee, water, and donated ⁢granola bars.

St. Paul’s Center will ⁤be open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday.
