Thierry Henry Lands Key role with FOX ‌Sports for 2026 World Cup

Thierry⁤ Henry will be a prominent voice during the​ 2026 World Cup, taking on a notable role with FOX Sports⁣ as the tournament unfolds primarily in the United States.

The former star striker has​ transitioned into a multifaceted career as retiring as ​a player in 2014. He’s held coaching positions with Monaco,​ the Montreal Impact, the Belgian national team, and lead France’s Espoirs and Olympic squads – ​earning a silver medal with the latter at the Paris Games.

While he hasn’t actively⁣ coached recently, Henry has remained a fixture in the football world as a popular analyst for CBS Sports during Champions League coverage, alongside micah Richards​ and Jamie Carragher. Now,‌ he’s expanding his broadcasting portfolio with FOX Sports.

This Friday, Henry will lead ⁤FOX Sports’ coverage of the 2026 World Cup ​draw, hosting a‍ 3.5-hour multiplex beginning at 6 p.m. French time. The 2026 tournament, co-hosted by the united States,​ Mexico, and Canada, will be the first-ever World Cup featuring 48 teams, and⁤ FOX Sports holds exclusive American television rights.
