SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – November 16, 2023 – Disney+ is expanding its foray into esports, announcing today it will be the exclusive broadcaster of the Korea e-Sports Association’s (KeSPA) annual League of Legends (LoL) tournament, the KeSPA Cup 2025, across 11 Asia-Pacific regions. The regions include key markets like Korea, Japan, and Australia.

This agreement extends beyond the KeSPA Cup 2025,also encompassing exclusive streaming rights for content related to the Korean esports national team as they prepare for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan.
Disney+ plans to further engage fans by livestreaming warmup matches for the national team leading up to the Asian Games, scheduled for September of next year. This move underscores Disney+’s growing commitment to delivering premium esports content to a rapidly expanding audience in the Asia-Pacific region.
