Samsung Unveils Galaxy Z TriFold, Expanding Foldable Phone Innovation
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – December 19, 2025 – Samsung today announced the Galaxy Z TriFold, a new foldable mobile device featuring a unique tri-folding design that expands to reveal a 10-inch screen.The device represents a significant evolution in foldable technology, offering a larger, more versatile display than conventional foldable phones and tablets.
the Galaxy Z TriFold reimagines mobile productivity and entertainment, harkening back to concepts of compact, all-in-one devices envisioned decades ago. When closed, the phone presents a standard 6.5-inch external screen. Unfolding the device reveals a panoramic display intended to redefine multitasking and mobile workstation capabilities.
Samsung’s design incorporates an inward-folding mechanism, protecting both internal panels when the device is closed. The expansive screen allows for the simultaneous operation of three apps, and when paired with Samsung DeX, transforms into a portable workstation.
Powering the Z TriFold is the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, supported by a 5600 mAh battery distributed across three panels for balanced power management. the camera system features a 200-megapixel main lens, complemented by wide-angle and telephoto lenses. the device’s durability is enhanced by a frame constructed from Advanced Armor Aluminum and secured by two titanium hinges,designed to resist wear without adding bulk.
