TUCSON, Ariz. – The Arizona Men’s Tennis team unveiled its 2026 spring schedule Wednesday,featuring 11 home matches and a challenging slate as the reigning Big 12 champions aim for a repeat title. Head coach Clancy Shields announced the schedule, which begins with a hidden dual in Delray Beach, Florida, January 9-11.
The Wildcats will look to build on their 2024 success, hosting ITA Kickoff Weekend for the third consecutive year at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center. This event, January 23-26, offers a pathway to the ITA National Indoor Championships, February 12-15. The schedule balances tough road contests with key home matchups, culminating in a regular season finale at Oklahoma State on April 12.
Arizona opens the spring with a trip to Oklahoma on January 16, followed by a home doubleheader against New Mexico State on January 19 (9:00 a.m. / 3:00 p.m.). Following ITA Kickoff Weekend, the team travels to California to face Pepperdine on January 30 and San Diego on February 1.
A February 22 doubleheader against UC San Diego precedes a trip to Tempe for the Diablo Invitational February 27-28.The Wildcats then host Michigan State on March 3 before hitting the road for matches against BYU and Utah on March 12 and March 14, respectively.
The team returns home for a four-match homestand featuring Columbia (March 17), Baylor (March 20), TCU (March 22), and Arizona State (March 28). senior Day will be celebrated April 9 against Central Florida, closing out the home schedule.
The Big 12 Tournament is scheduled for April 16-20 at UCF in Orlando, Florida, and the NCAA Team Championships will take place in early May, with first-round host sites yet to be steadfast.
