WWE content Set too Depart Peacock streaming Service in December

Stamford, CT - November 21, 2023 - A critically important portion of the WWE content library currently hosted on peacock will be removed from the streaming platform at the end of December, according to recent observations by fans on social media. The departure includes a ample collection of content from WCW, ECW, various regional wrestling promotions, and a large number of events from the WWF/WWE archives.
The Peacock-WWE Partnership
In March 2021, WWE and Peacock entered into a five-year agreement that transitioned a large portion of WWE’s content library from the WWE Network to Peacock in the United States.this deal encompassed both on-demand content and live broadcasts of WWE’s premium live events.
peacock began broadcasting WWE’s premium live events with Fastlane 2021, and continued through Clash in Paris in September 2025. The partnership also saw Peacock secure the rights to air classic programs like Saturday night’s Main Event, with a new multi-year agreement ensuring its continued availability.
Expanding WWE’s Reach
Following the initial Peacock agreement, WWE expanded its media presence with a new partnership with ESPN. This collaboration commenced the following month with Wrestlepalooza.
The reasons for the content removal have not been officially stated by either WWE or Peacock, but the move signals a potential shift in content strategy for both companies. Further details are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
