King Gizzard & teh Lizard Wizard have unveiled a run of 2026 U.S. tour dates, including a special three-night stand at Forest hills Stadium in Queens, new York. The prolific Australian psych-rock collective will bring their expansive catalog and renowned live show to audiences across the country.
This announcement arrives as King Gizzard & the lizard Wizard continue to solidify their position as one of the most innovative and consistently engaging bands in contemporary music. known for their relentless output-releasing multiple albums per year-and genre-bending experimentation,the band’s tour promises a dynamic experience for both longtime fans and newcomers. The dates follow recent Australian tour announcements for December 2024.
The tour kicks off August 20th, 2026, at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY, with subsequent performances on August 21st and 22nd. Prior to the New York shows, the band will perform at Meadow Creek in Buena Vista, Colorado on August 14th, 16th as part of the Field of Vision II festival.
Earlier in December, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard will perform in Australia: December 10th in Brisbane at The Princess Theater, and December 12th and 13th in Melbourne at Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
Supporting acts vary by date. The Meadow Creek performances will feature support from Party Dozen. The Melbourne shows include sets from Folk Bitch Trio and Barkaa, while the Brisbane date will be joined by Destrends. Select performances will also feature orchestral accompaniment: the Brisbane show with Queensland Symphony Orchestra, and the Melbourne shows with Orchestra Victoria, and the Sydney show with Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
