TAIPEI, Taiwan – Actor and singer Wu Jianhao, known for his role in the iconic Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden and later musical pursuits, continues to prioritize physical fitness, maintaining a body fat percentage below 10%, according to recent reports. The 44-year-old artist’s dedication to a disciplined lifestyle has become a defining characteristic, extending to his fashion choices even during colder months.
Wu Jianhao’s entertainment career began unexpectedly during a break from his studies at the California Institute of Technology. Following advice from Huang Licheng, he traveled to Taiwan in 2000 with $1,200, facing financial hardship and relying on convenience store lunches while seeking opportunities. His breakthrough came when producer Chai Zhiping discovered him at a gym during the casting process for Meteor Garden, leading to his inclusion in the now-legendary F4 group.
While achieving fame as a member of F4, Wu Jianhao together pursued a solo music career, releasing his debut album The Body Can Sing in 2002. He further distinguished himself in 2003 by collaborating with Beyoncé on the song “Crazy in Love,” becoming the first F4 member to work with an international superstar.
