elegant Design, Driver-Focused Interior

The 6e ‌showcases Mazda’s “Kodo – Soul of Motion” design language, presenting a sleek and sporty profile that echoes the lines of the traditional Mazda 6, but with a‌ distinctly modern aesthetic. Inside, the cabin prioritizes a minimalist elegance, utilizing premium materials like Nappa leather and Alcantara. ‍ Mazda has focused ‌on maintaining‌ a driver-centric layout, ensuring comfort and control. A spacious interior is further enhanced by a wide cabin floor and extended wheelbase, providing ample rear passenger ‍room.

Performance and Range options

Mazda‌ will offer the 6e with a choice of battery packs. The standard configuration features ‌a 68.8 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, delivering a WLTP-certified range of approximately 479 km (298 miles). This is paired with a 190 kW (258 hp) rear-wheel drive motor, enabling a ‍0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time ⁤of 7.6 seconds. ⁣European ⁢customers will also ‍have access to a version equipped‌ with a larger 80 kWh Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery, extending the WLTP range to up to 552 km (343⁣ miles). A 78kWh LFP battery⁤ option with a 190kW motor is planned for the Australian market,⁣ promising a range exceeding ⁣500km.

Dynamic Handling and Comprehensive Safety

While sharing a ⁣platform with the Changan Deepal L07, the 6e retains Mazda’s signature driving dynamics. The rear-wheel drive configuration and balanced weight ‌distribution contribute to a responsive and engaging driving experience, particularly on winding roads.⁣ Though steering precision could ⁢be improved, the 6e delivers⁢ a ‍stable and comfortable ride. Safety is prioritized with a suite of advanced‍ driver-assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane ‍keeping⁤ assist, ‍and a 360-degree camera system.
