PlayStation Plus December Lineup: Five Games Launching December 2nd, Red Dead Redemption Upgrade for extra & Premium Members
New york, NY – November 27, 2023 – PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a substantial December boost, with five new games arriving on December 2nd. In addition, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will receive access to the newly released PlayStation 5 version of Red Dead redemption, complete with performance upgrades, the undead Nightmare expansion, and all content from the Game of the Year Edition.
The december 2nd launch includes killing Floor 3, LEGO Horizon adventures, neon White, Synduality: Echo of Ada, and The Outlast Trials. Notably, Neon White and The Outlast trials are available on both PS4 and PS5, while the remaining titles are exclusive to the PS5.
This expanded offering comes as Sony continues to shift its PlayStation Plus focus towards the PS5.The company announced earlier this year that it will increasingly prioritize current-generation titles, meaning PS4 users will likely see fewer dedicated releases in the future, relying rather on cross-generation titles.
Beyond the initial wave, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can look forward to Skate Story, launching on December 8th, a game where players take on the role of a demon seeking redemption through skateboarding.
PlayStation has also announced a library update for Extra and Premium members on December 16th, which will include both removals and additions to the game catalog.
