Title: San Antonio: Suspect Arrested After ‘Barricade’ Incident

San ‌Antonio, TX – A suspect is in custody ⁣following a several-hour standoff with police on the Northwest ​side ⁢Saturday afternoon, the San ‌antonio Police Department reported. A victim is safe after being evacuated from the residence.

Police responded to⁣ a disturbance call around 3 p.m. on Cincinnati Avenue,⁣ near N General McMullen Drive‍ and Culebra Road.​ Officers resolute a suspect and a victim were inside the home, believed to be ⁤siblings.‍ The incident prompted a ⁣barricade situation as ⁤authorities ‍worked to secure the suspect’s surrender. No injuries were reported ⁢during the event.

After several hours, ⁤the suspect exited ‍the home following the deployment of a skid ​steer ‌by police. The suspect, whose ⁣name has not been released, will be charged with aggravated assault with ​a deadly weapon.

Authorities ⁢indicated an existing ‌warrant was ⁣out for the‌ suspect’s ​arrest,though it remains unconfirmed whether the warrant was ⁢related to saturday’s incident or a ‌separate⁢ charge.

The examination is ongoing.
