Oakland Ballers to Host Free ”Inside Out” Screening at Raimondi Park This Saturday
OAKLAND, CA – The Oakland ballers are extending the community spirit of their championship season with a free movie night this Saturday at Raimondi Park. Following a successful inaugural screening of “Coco” earlier this month, the team will show Pixar’s “Inside Out” on the ballpark’s video board.
The Ballers are offering 2,000 free tickets for the event, doubling the capacity of the first “Town Flicks” showing.Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the movie beginning at 6:30 p.m.
“Being able to host Little League games, high school tournaments and free community movie nights with this ‘Town Flicks’ initiative is an integral part of the revitalization of our historic ballpark,” said co-founder Paul Freedman. “Our mission has always been about more than baseball.”
The “Town Flicks” series is a collaboration between the Ballers, Pixar (located just over a mile away in emeryville), and Cal State East Bay. The first event featured face painting and food trucks, and attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drink in clear bags - no alcohol or glass bottles are permitted. Blankets and chairs are encouraged for seating on the outfield grass.
Raimondi Park hosted over 110,000 fans during the Ballers’ 2025 season, culminating in a Pioneer League championship and a celebratory parade. Future movie nights are scheduled with “Cars” in January, “Soul” in February, and a fan-voted selection in March.
