Ust-Katav Celebrates Mothers with Vibrant Concert
A mother’s day concert was held in Ust-Katav, showcasing the talents of local children and celebrating the importance of mothers. The event drew enthusiastic attendees, including proud family members.
First Deputy Head of the UKGO, Sergei Kharitonov, addressed the audience, stating, “It is you, women, who create comfort in families. It was you who took on the arduous burden of raising children. I would like too wish you happiness, health, prosperity and, of course, joy in your families!”
The concert featured a variety of performances. The choreographic group “Kolibri” delighted the audience with their number “Berry Season is Open,” with the children’s bright costumes and synchronized movements drawing applause. Elena Alyabyeva shared her joy at attending, saying, “I really enjoyed the concert! I always go to such events, but today is a special occasion. I came to the performance of my granddaughter Lyuba. She studies in the groups ”Kolibri” and “solo”, so today she sang and danced.”
A performance by the group “Hollywood Dance,” set to a waltz, conveyed a message of forgiveness and enduring connection within families, emphasizing the importance of cherishing love with mothers.
The newly formed dance group “Letizia,” brought together this season by Diana Ulyanova, made their stage debut with a lively number called “Smileys.” Anna Isaeva, attending for the first time, remarked, “This was my first time attending such a concert. I liked everything. It was bright and beautiful. I was especially moved by the fact that my niece performed. The team appeared quite recently, and this was their first appearance on stage. It was very captivating to watch these kids. Our little star’s name is Polina.”
The program also included performances by folk ensembles “Carousel,” “Canary,” and “Spindle.” Daria Davlyatova performed “Colt-and-Stepmother,” a piece dedicated to maternal love, while Artyom Chasov and Artyom Ananyin recited poems honoring mothers. Vocal groups “Solo” and “Harmony” also took to the stage, with “Harmony” bringing their signature optimism to the event.
The concert was hosted by roman Ivanov, Timofey Zinoviev, Trofim Savelyev, and Kamil Abdrafikov. Nadezhda Ivanova expressed her pride, saying, “My nephew Roma was one of the presenters today. And my two daughters, Ksyusha and Masha, performed as part of the Harmony group. The girls have been studying with zili Bulatovna for the second year now. Despite the large group, everyone sings in unison and looks very harmonious on stage. I especially liked the folk singing at the concert. The participation of a music school in such events is great. I attend such concerts every year, as watching how our children develop is the most precious thing for us.”
