Farmington Man Faces Sexual Abuse Charges Following Investigation
FARMINGTON, N.Y. – A 78-year-old Farmington man was arrested November 21st and charged with first-degree sexual abuse, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office. Rolando Punzalan Pasion was taken into custody at his Coral Drive residence around 2:10 p.m. following an investigation into allegations involving a 17-year-old victim.
Investigators allege Pasion engaged in sexual contact with the victim through forcible compulsion. The arrest stems from a probe conducted by the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division. First-degree sexual abuse is a felony under New York State law, carrying significant penalties including lengthy prison sentences.
Pasion is currently being held at the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment. Authorities have not released further details regarding the incident or the victim’s identity at this time, citing the ongoing nature of the case and privacy concerns.
