BLACKPINK‘s Lisa is set to make her debut in Fortnite as the featured artist in the latest Fortnite Festival event. The globally renowned K-pop star will headline the in-game music platform, bringing her music and style to millions of Fortnite players worldwide.
This marks Lisa’s first appearance within Fortnite,expanding her presence in the gaming world following previous collaborations with Animal Crossing,MapleStory,and PUBG,as well as the launch of her own mobile game. The event is part of Fortnite Chapter 12, which will also include a “lost” scene from Quentin Tarantino‘s Kill Bill Vol. 1.
Lisa recently released her debut solo album, ‘Alter Ego,’ which NME described as “an aspiring first step” in defining her individual artistry, noting that “the real Lisa is still emerging.” The Fortnite festival appearance offers a new platform for her to connect with fans and showcase her musical identity.
Beyond Lisa’s inclusion, fortnite continues to integrate pop culture moments, as evidenced by the concurrent addition of content from tarantino’s iconic film. Separately, Eminem recently announced a collaboration with Hitman: World Of Assassination.
