Heisman Trophy Race Heats Up: Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love in the Conversation

ESPN Analyst​ Todd⁤ McShay ⁢Strongly Backs Notre Dame‘s Jeremiyah Love for heisman Trophy

NEW YORK, NY – November 26, 2023 – ESPN college⁢ football ⁣analyst Todd McShay has ​emphatically endorsed Notre Dame running back ⁢jeremiyah Love as a Heisman Trophy finalist,​ stating, ​”If he doesn’t get⁤ to New York, what teh hell ⁣are we doing?” McShay, a Heisman voter,⁣ pledged to cast his ballot​ in favor​ of ⁤Love.

The​ Heisman Trophy, awarded annually to the most⁣ outstanding player⁢ in college‌ football, currently has several contenders, including quarterbacks Fernando Mendoza of ⁤Indiana, Julian Sayin of Ohio State, and Ty Simpson ‍of Alabama. However, McShay believes ⁤Love’s performance‍ warrants serious consideration.

Love has been instrumental ⁤in Notre Dame’s successful 8-2 season. He has carried the ball 177 times for⁣ 1,135‍ yards and 14 touchdowns,averaging 6.4 yards per ⁢carry. He has also contributed as a receiver, wiht 26 catches⁢ for 274 yards and three touchdowns.

Notre Dame​ faces Syracuse today and will conclude their regular season against Stanford. The 2023 Heisman Trophy winner will be announced ​on ⁢December 13th.
