New Pokémon Scarlet and Violet distribution Event Begins, Offering a special Pikachu
A new limited-time distribution event has launched for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet on the Nintendo Switch, allowing players to receive a special Pikachu. This Pikachu knows the move Surf and holds a Gold bottle Cap,an item used to maximize a Pokémon’s Effort Values (EVs).
The distribution event is running now through febuary 29th, 2024, and provides a boost for players looking to competitively train their Pokémon or simply add a unique Pikachu to their team.Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, released in November 2022, introduced a fully open-world experience to the core Pokémon series, allowing players to explore the Paldea region with unprecedented freedom. These games represent the ninth generation of Pokémon mainline titles and continue the franchise’s legacy of catching, battling, and trading Pokémon.
To receive the Pikachu, players must have an internet connection and access to the Nintendo Switch Online service. They can then select “get via Internet” from the Mystery Gift menu within the game. This event follows other distributions for the game, demonstrating ongoing support from The Pokémon Company for Scarlet and Violet players.
