montpellier University Hospital Pain Center Under Scrutiny After YouTuber Exposes Controversial Practices

Montpellier, france – A video posted by YouTuber G Milgram has ignited a firestorm ‌of⁤ concern ⁢regarding practices at ⁢the pain center of Montpellier University Hospital, prompting investigations and raising questions about the treatment of vulnerable patients, especially those with chronic pain and terminal illnesses.‍ While the center’s⁢ head of algology,‌ Dr. giniès, is widely regarded as a “very good pain doctor” and a “referent in‌ algology,” especially for cancer and end-of-life care, ⁣the video alleges a disturbing departure from accepted medical⁢ protocols.

The⁣ controversy centers on‍ accusations that Dr.Giniès engages in inappropriate questioning and relies on unsubstantiated psychoanalytic interpretations in ‍treating patients. According to Milgram, who describes himself as an “experimenter without white coat” dedicated⁣ to debunking pseudo-medicines, the practices revealed ⁢in the video are “mind-blowing and appalling,”⁢ and his “psychoanalytic rantings are based on nothing.” ‌ Three patients have reportedly sent lengthy letters detailing concerns about ‍these questions, though no formal complaints have been filed with ⁤the medical order.

The situation echoes a separate case involving Dr.Abossolo, who is no‌ longer registered to practice in⁤ France following a report to Miviludes, the French government body that combats cultic practices. Authorities state they are working to prevent his return ⁤to the profession. An internal investigation ‌is currently underway regarding dr. Abossolo at⁢ Montpellier University Hospital, according to reports.

Milgram’s video has resonated with numerous individuals who have come forward with‍ corroborating testimonies, claiming they were directed to these ⁣doctors by their primary physicians within ‍the hospital system, not seeking alternative therapies independently. ⁣ “This patient did not choose to consult alternative medicine therapists. We are at the hospital, in a university hospital, where we arrive directed ⁣by our attending physician,” Milgram explained to Free Midday.

Fibromyalgia, a complex ⁣chronic condition for which science has yet to identify a definitive organic cause, is specifically mentioned as an area where Dr. Giniès‌ treats patients “that no one wants.” However, the ‍methods employed are now under intense scrutiny. Montpellier University Hospital has not yet responded to requests for comment. Disciplinary action against Dr. ‍Giniès is expected to be initiated soon.
