Samsung Boosts Galaxy S25 Ultra Trade-In Value Ahead of Black Friday
LONDON – Samsung is enhancing its Galaxy S25 Ultra offers for U.K. buyers, now guaranteeing at least £100 (approximately $130 USD) for any condition smartphone trade-in.This builds upon existing promotions including a PayPal discount and a £250 ($326 USD) price reduction, bringing the S25 Ultra’s price down to £849 ($1,117 USD).
The updated offer contrasts with recent U.S. discounts on the device, wich required a qualifying trade-in for significant savings. Samsung has indicated it will accept smartphones in any working condition for the minimum trade-in value, though consumers are advised to offer a functioning device if possible.
Though, this current deal isn’t the lowest price seen on the S25 Ultra. In October, Samsung U.K.offered a 20% discount combined with a £200 ($261 USD) minimum trade-in, resulting in a final price of £799 ($1,042 USD) – £50 cheaper than the current promotion.
This highlights a trend where the best deals on Samsung devices often appear just before new phone launches, rather than exclusively during Black Friday sales events. Samsung, alongside competitors like Google and OnePlus, and retailers such as Amazon, frequently offer competitive discounts throughout the year.
With the official Black Friday weekend still over a week away, there remains a possibility of further improvements to the Galaxy S25 Ultra deal, perhaps including bundled offers like free Galaxy Buds 3 or a tablet.
