Men’s‍ Team Prepares for Tight Contest

Returning to the Julio Solaun field after a month away, the men’s first team faces a challenging match against Sardinero HC. The game is expected ⁤to be closely contested between two teams currently positioned near the bottom of the Division of Honor A standings.

Head Coach Marc Salvatella stressed the importance of the⁤ game, stating it’s ‌”a very important match in terms of classification and everything,” emphasizing the need to‌ end the first round on a positive note. He described Sardinero as⁣ “a safe, even and very competitive match,” adding they are “a⁤ more experienced team and they compete very well in these types of matches.”

Salvatella identified two key areas for betterment: maximizing performance during penalty corners, which he acknowledged as an ongoing focus, and effectively managing player advantages and⁣ disadvantages during what is anticipated to be a physically demanding game.He concluded, “We have to be able to display our game against⁣ an opponent who will have a rocky game.”

Women’s Team Eyes Top Spot Consolidation

The women’s first team will host Valencia‌ hockey club on Sunday. With ⁢three games left in the first phase, Neguri’s team is focused on maintaining their position in the top half ‍of the Division‌ of honor ‍B table and building momentum heading into the second phase.

Valencia is recognized as a consistently competitive ⁤team, and will provide a‍ stern test for the Jolaseta squad, led by Coach Nacho Lecanda. The team has demonstrated defensive strength and a strong ability to create ‌scoring opportunities.A win on Sunday ⁤would provide Jolaseta with a comfortable ⁢margin as they approach the final two games of the first phase.
