Sophie Davant,62,Opens Up About Menopause and Intimacy: “The Older We Get,The Better We Know Ourselves Sexually”
Paris,France – November 20,2025 – French television personality Sophie Davant,62,is sparking conversation by openly discussing the realities of menopause and its impact on women’s intimate lives. the host, celebrated for her long-running role on Deal Done and her current magazine S.,addressed the topic in recent interviews and her book,What a joy to grow old!
Davant recently appeared on France 2’s it Starts Today with Faustine Bollaert in September 2024,participating in a discussion about age and taboo subjects. She detailed the physiological changes associated with menopause, specifically addressing vaginal dryness and its effect on libido.
“Exactly, we were talking about secretly hormonal, it acts on hot flashes, but not only that. It affects the quality of the skin and also affects vaginal lubrication and libido,” Davant explained. She emphasized the importance of open interaction with partners, stating, ”I have always kept my partner informed of what is happening to me. I believe that loving each other means going through this together.”
