Salsa ⁤legend Ismael Miranda is back with new music, reaffirming his ‍commitment to⁢ singing despite recent health challenges. His latest single,”Siempre Cantaré” (Always I Will Sing),will be available on digital platforms starting November 21st.

The ‍song,‍ a composition by Juan ‌José Hernández featuring ‍a collaboration ‍with⁢ Gilberto Santa Rosa, serves as a heartfelt​ tribute to Miranda’s remarkable 50+ year career.From his early beginnings as ⁣a percussionist and vocalist⁣ with​ New york vocal groups at age 11, to recording his first professional album at⁢ 17 with Joey Pastrana (following earlier appearances with pipo y su ‌Combo and Andy Harlow’s sextet), ⁢and becoming ⁢the ‌youngest member of the iconic Fania All-Stars at 18, Miranda has been a cornerstone of ⁤the salsa genre.

“This song is my way of thanking everyone who has been with me. As long as⁤ I have a voice, even if it ​is a ‍whisper… I will always sing,”⁢ Miranda stated.

The release follows a period of health struggles that required ‍surgery and hospitalizations, keeping him away from the stage.Despite ongoing physical consequences, Miranda returned to the studio with unwavering ⁣determination and honesty.

“Siempre cantaré” is produced by Víctor Manuelle, a‍ frequent collaborator. The pair previously‍ worked together on “Son 45,” ⁢an album celebrating Miranda’s 45th anniversary in music, which yielded the⁢ Billboard Tropical #1​ hits “Bajo, piano y bongó” and “Son 45,” and‌ earned a‌ Latin Grammy nomination.
