Google Expands ‘device Health & Support’ Dashboard to Older pixel Phones

Google ⁢is bringing‌ its extensive “Device⁢ health & support” dashboard – previously exclusive to the Pixel 10 series – to Pixel phones as far back as ⁢the pixel‌ 6. The rollout began with the November 2025‍ Feature Drop and ⁢aims to provide users with a centralized location to monitor and manage ‍their device’s well-being.

This update replaces the older “Tips & support” help page found‍ in the Settings app, offering a more robust and informative experience. The dashboard consolidates key information about⁢ a ⁣pixel’s condition, empowering users to proactively ‌address potential issues and optimize performance. The⁢ feature is particularly relevant as smartphones become increasingly integral to daily life, and maintaining device health directly impacts user experience ⁤and longevity.

The features available within the dashboard‍ vary depending on the Pixel ‍model, but generally include:

* Need help with your Pixel: A chatbot-style assistance tool.
*‌ Looks good/issue detected: A quick status overview, displaying either a‍ green checkmark (“Your Pixel is in great shape!”) or a yellow exclamation ‍mark indicating pending updates.
* Battery health

* Device temperature

* Storage

*‌ Software update

* ⁣ Charging diagnostics

* Touch diagnostics

* Warranty information

* Tips & support (access to ‍the previous help experience)
* Contact support

Currently, users of ‍the Pixel 7 Pro who haven’t yet received ‌the November update‌ are seeing limited ⁢functionality, including only⁢ Device temperature, storage, and Software updates.

To ensure proper functionality,Google recommends verifying that Device Health Services⁤ and Settings Services are up-to-date. Users can find thes services within the Settings app under their Google account (name at the top) > All services > Privacy & security > System services.
