The emotional atmosphere followed recent reports of Hezucký’s significant weight loss and his surprising appearance at a recent podcast filming without a wheelchair.
Mareš and Říhová revealed they visited Hezucký at his cottage yesterday, describing a positive visit filled with conversation and play with their children. despite looking forward to participating in the broadcast, Hezucký was ultimately unable to appear. “he won’t broadcast today, but that doesn’t mean he’s not here with us,” Mareš shared, adding that Hezucký had sent a message at 5:42 apologizing for his absence. “So he’s not apologizing, I’m apologizing to him,” Mareš continued.
The broadcast continued with Jakub Kohák, but the presenters struggled to maintain their usual cheerful tone. Adding to the outpouring of support, Hezucký’s wife posted a message on Instagram this morning stating, “remember who made the hardest chapters of your life easier just by being there with you. Those are your people.” She concluded with, “I will never, never, never forget you.” At 6:37, Hezucký sent a photo to the broadcast team, who reciprocated with a photo of their own.
