Beloved Bulgarian Singer Sasho Kompira Needs Urgent Funds for Life-Saving Surgery
Sofia, Bulgaria – A wave of support is building for popular Bulgarian folk singer Sasho Kompira, who requires two major operations in Turkey to restore his hearing and possibly save his career. Fellow musician Boris Dali launched a public appeal for donations after learning Kompira faces a €20,000 medical bill.
Kompira, known for his iconic duet ”Old wounds” with Sophie Marinova,is suffering from a displaced jaw impacting nerves connected to his hearing. According to Dali, teh condition distorts KompiraS perception of music, threatening his ability to perform.
“The man in the photo is called Sasho Kompira – a fellow singer with a unique voice that all of us singers and musicians admire,” Dali wrote in a widely shared post.
Doctors in Turkey offer a greater than 90% chance of full recovery with the necessary surgeries – one on the jaw and another on the nasal septum. Dali’s plea has resonated deeply with the Bulgarian music community and fans alike.
