Biggie’s Son CJ Sues Publicist Over Allegations of involvement in Diddy Sexual Assaults
CJ Wallace, son of the late Notorious B.I.G., has filed a lawsuit against music publicist Jonathan Hay, alleging defamation stemming from claims that Wallace witnessed or participated in sexual assaults committed by Sean “Diddy” Combs. The suit, filed recently, seeks damages to repair Wallace’s reputation after Hay publicly accused him and fellow producer Mack Maine of involvement in the alleged misconduct.
The legal action comes after a period where Hay allegedly spread damaging claims on YouTube, reaching an audience exceeding 100,000 viewers. This dispute originated from a stalled music project involving Biggie’s unreleased material, wiht Wallace asserting Hay began making the accusations only after Wallace attempted to protect his father’s legacy and intellectual property. The case highlights the escalating fallout from numerous allegations against Diddy and the potential for legal repercussions for those making unverified claims.
According to court documents, Wallace and Hay collaborated on a project to release previously unreleased tracks by The Notorious B.I.G. However, the partnership dissolved due to creative differences. Wallace claims he sent Hay a cease-and-desist letter after Hay threatened to release the tracks without approval from Biggie’s estate. At that time, Wallace alleges, Hay did not make any accusations regarding Wallace or Maine’s involvement in any alleged assaults by Diddy.
The situation escalated in late 2024, when Hay began disseminating the accusations online. Wallace specifically refutes Hay’s claims that Maine was his “boyfriend” and that he witnessed or participated in any of Diddy’s alleged “freak-offs.” Wallace maintains these claims are entirely false.
Diddy’s legal team previously dismissed similar allegations when the claims frist surfaced. Wallace is now seeking financial damages to address the harm caused to his reputation by Hay’s public statements. The outcome of this lawsuit could set a precedent for accountability regarding unsubstantiated accusations made in the wake of the ongoing allegations against Diddy.
