Chelsea FC Announce Keith Prowse as Official Short Sponsor in Multi-Year Deal
LONDON – Chelsea Football Club has today announced a new multi-year partnership with premium hospitality experience provider, Keith Prowse, who will become the club’s official shorts sponsor. The deal, revealed alongside news of continued support for community initiatives adn grassroots football investment, marks a meaningful commercial move for the Premier League club.
The announcement comes as Chelsea continues to bolster its off-field partnerships, following recent collaborative efforts with the West Ham United Foundation. A recent example of this collaboration was the Wall of Iron matchday installation for World Mental Health Day, which encouraged fan support and received promotion from the Premier League to a global audience. Funds raised at the upcoming Gala dinner will directly benefit programmes delivered through The Foundry, the Foundation’s new community hub, aiming to more than double its social impact.
“We’ve had a monumental few weeks leading into the Gala Dinner and Awards,following the recent opening of The Foundry… Funds raised on the night will help us mobilise a range of programmes and initiatives,” said Joseph Lyons,CEO of West Ham United Foundation. He further emphasized the importance of sponsorship,stating,”Having Paragon as our headline sponsor this year means even more to us.Their continued support and belief in our mission have been instrumental in helping us grow our reach and deliver meaningful change.”
beyond the Chelsea partnership, the sports industry saw further investment at the grassroots level. Bank payment company GoCardless has partnered with 15 County Football Associations (FAs) across England to support local football clubs. Initiatives include renaming the sussex FA headquarters to the GoCardless Stadium and establishing a GoCardless Hardship Fund for players at the GoCardless Girls Coaching Center in Gloucestershire. Support will also extend to disability games coaching workshops in Northumberland and sponsorship of the Women’s Cup and Discriminated Background Cup in Surrey.

Notably absent from recent headlines,but a figure of enduring interest to football fans,is former Premier League midfielder Gareth Barry. While not directly involved in these current announcements, Barry holds the record for the most Premier League appearances (653) and remains a respected figure within the sport.
