National Education ‍Launches Recruitment ⁣Drive for specialized Student Support Staff

Indre, France ⁣- ​The‌ Departmental Directorate ⁤of Services of Indre is‍ actively recruiting Accompagnants des Élèves en Situation de Handicap (AESH) – assistants supporting students with disabilities – for the 2025 school year, with‍ immediate openings also available for replacements and temporary ​needs. The positions, offered on a three-year fixed-term contract with potential for permanent employment, aim to bolster inclusive education across⁢ schools, colleges, and high ⁢schools ‍within the⁤ region.

AESH⁣ play a crucial role⁢ in French schools, providing individualized support to students with disabilities, fostering their⁤ integration and academic success. This recruitment drive‍ reflects a broader national effort to strengthen support systems within the‌ education sector and ensure equitable access to learning⁤ for all students.

To ‍qualify, candidates⁣ must hold a baccalaureate (level IV) or ‌equivalent qualification, possess a professional diploma in personal assistance (such as an AEPE), ⁣or demonstrate at least ‌nine months of experience supporting students ⁢with disabilities. Accomplished applicants will be expected to demonstrate mastery of ​the ​French language,strong dialog and interpersonal skills,initiative,adaptability,and adherence to ​professional ‍ethics,including maintaining confidentiality.

The part-time positions, offering ⁢24 hours of work ‍per week within an Inclusive Localized Support Center (PIAL), come with⁤ a salary equivalent to approximately 62% of the French minimum ‌wage ⁣for a 27-hour⁤ work week.⁢
