IPM Essen Revamps Floristry Program with New “IPM flower Stage” & Industry-Wide Access
Essen, Germany – November 11, 2024 – IPM Essen is significantly updating its floristry program for the upcoming trade fair, introducing the “IPM Flower Stage” as a central hub for floristic trends and inspiration. The revamped stage will be open to all interested exhibitors for the first time, marking a departure from the previous FDF World format and aiming to involve the entire industry.
Hall 5 will serve as the focal point for living greenery, with the new stage offering a unique revolving platform for manufacturers, wholesalers, florists, and industry institutions to showcase products, concepts, and innovative ideas. A diverse range of participation packages – from Basic to Premium+ – will be available, offering options for shows, workshops, product presentations, plant sponsorship, and audience giveaways, all including logo placement and access to an exclusive networking event.
“Emphasizing the significance of Hall 5 as the central hub for floristic trends and inspiration…the stage will be accessible to any interested exhibitors,” noted Andrea Hölker, IPM Head of Project.
A highlight of the program will be the ‘Aloha Show’ led by renowned floristry expert Björn Kroner, promising a vibrant display of tropical flowers and fresh design inspiration.
The program culminates in a florist get-together on January 29th, featuring a DJ and fostering informal networking amongst participants.IPM Essen will provide extensive support to exhibitors, from booking and program coordination to implementation, with the FDF available for advisory roles in floral design. The event organizers emphasize the increased communication reach and visibility the new concept provides through on-site interaction, online engagement, and social media promotion.
