Kristian‍ Valen, one of Norway’s ⁤most ​prominent comedians, is releasing a ⁢new autobiography ​detailing a ⁤life encompassing both stardom and personal struggles, including “breakdowns,⁣ police raids‌ and suicidal thoughts.” The book, penned⁢ with author Per Asle Rustad, promises an “unfiltered” ⁤account of Valen’s journey from a challenging upbringing in Stavanger to achieving success in the Hollywood⁤ Hills.

Valen’s‌ career has spanned decades, ‌shaping Norwegian entertainment‌ with ‍his signature parodies and widespread television ⁤and ‍stage presence. The forthcoming book offers a rare, intimate look behind the public⁣ persona, exploring the costs of fame and the ‌battles fought in private.
