Eagles Edge Packers in Defensive Struggle at Lambeau Field
GREEN BAY, WI – The Philadelphia Eagles extended thier winning streak to seven games with a hard-fought 10-7 victory over the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday, marking the end of the NFL’s 10th week of play. the game, a defensive battle, saw both teams struggle to generate offense, ultimately decided by a late Packers turnover.
The first half ended in a scoreless tie, with both teams managing onyl six punts and two fumbles before the break. Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 15 of 26 passes for 183 yards and one touchdown, adding 27 rushing yards. Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith led all receivers with 69 yards and the game’s only touchdown, while A.J. Brown was limited to two receptions for 13 yards. Saquon Barkley gained 60 rushing yards on 22 carries for the Packers.
Green Bay’s struggles were compounded by turnovers. Late in the fourth quarter, Packers running back Josh Jacobs fumbled at his own 40-yard line, setting up the Eagles’ game-winning drive. quarterback Jordan Love completed 20 of 36 passes for 176 yards and had a passer rating of approximately 69, continuing a recent trend of subpar performances. He also lost a fumble before halftime that could have resulted in points.
Christian Watson, recently returning from injury, was the Packers’ leading receiver with 45 yards, filling in for the injured Tucker Kraft.
