SEOUL,SOUTH KOREA – Samsung ⁢Electronics plans to release its next flagship smartphone series, the ⁣Galaxy S26,in early 2026,maintaining its⁢ traditional three-model structure: ⁤the Galaxy S26,Galaxy S26+,and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company will discontinue the special edition ‌Galaxy⁢ S25 Edge, launched in 2025, and instead concentrate on enhancing performance, battery life, and integration with its Galaxy AI ecosystem.

The declaration comes ⁣alongside a strategic alliance with Nvidia‌ to establish ⁣an “AI megafactory” in Texas. This complex‌ will house 50,000 ⁢graphics processing ‍units (GPUs) to ⁤accelerate electronic ‍chip manufacturing and bolster ⁤the production of both smartphones and⁣ robots.

According to nvidia’s official Newsroom, the project‌ leverages Samsung’s ‍expertise in semiconductor technology alongside Nvidia’s ⁣computing power, aiming for up⁢ to ⁢20‍ times⁢ greater performance in tasks like electronic ‌component design and testing. Samsung‌ will⁢ also update its ⁣HBM4 memory⁤ – crucial for AI chips – and implement Nvidia’s Omniverse software.
