Bogotá, Colombia – sandra Posada, a presenter on the popular Colombian program Día a Día, recently disclosed experiencing harassment from a fan, a revelation that comes as she reflects on challenging periods in her personal life, including supporting her ex-husband, Ricardo Santamaría, through a life-threatening accident. The incident underscores the vulnerability public figures face and raises concerns about boundaries between fans and personalities.
Posada, who has been wiht Día a Día for 14 years, shared details of her past while discussing personal experiences. She and Santamaría married after a whirlwind two-month courtship, and their daughter, Julieta, was born when Posada was 27 years old. The marriage ultimately ended due to couple disagreements, but a tough chapter followed shortly after their divorce.
In a particularly harrowing turn of events, Santamaría suffered an accident resulting in burns covering 65% of his body. Posada vividly recalled the trauma of that period, describing a scene of Santamaría bandaged from head to toe, sustained by a respirator. “We were waiting for anything to happen and I remember that Ricardo was bandaged from head to toe, the only thing you could see was a tube coming out of his mouth in a respirator and the respirator was black,” she stated.
Despite their separation, Posada remained a steadfast source of support during Santamaría’s recovery, remaining by his side until he was discharged from the Intensive Care Unit and ultimately forging a friendship with her ex-husband. The presenter’s openness about navigating this complex situation highlights her resilience and commitment to maintaining a positive co-parenting relationship.
Details of the recent fan harassment were not immediately available, but Posada’s disclosure follows a growing trend of public figures speaking out about unwanted attention and the importance of establishing healthy boundaries.
