Crescent Hotels & Resorts Adds Historic Westin Great Southern Columbus to Management Portfolio
COLUMBUS, OH – Crescent Hotels & Resorts has taken over management of The Westin Great Southern Columbus, a landmark hotel in downtown Columbus owned by Whitestone Companies. The move expands Crescent’s footprint in the Columbus market, building on a proven track record of successful hotel operations.
originally constructed in 1897, The Westin Great Southern Columbus is a recognized architectural icon centrally located near attractions like the Ohio Statehouse, the Brewery District, and the Scioto Mile. The hotel boasts 188 guest rooms and suites, over 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and the Italian restaurant Bar Cicchetti.

The company will leverage its data-driven, performance-focused approach and in-depth understanding of the Columbus hospitality landscape.
“We’re excited to add this historic property to our portfolio,” said a Crescent Hotels & Resorts spokesperson. “The Westin Great Southern Columbus is a cornerstone of the downtown area, and we look forward to building on its legacy of service and excellence.”
