Tottenham Hotspur defender Destiny Udogie was allegedly ⁣threatened with a gun by a football agent, according to reports confirmed by the Metropolitan Police. The incident occurred on September 6th in Cockfosters Parade,barnet,with a ⁤31-year-old man afterward arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms with intent,blackmail,and ⁣driving without a licence. He ⁣has been bailed pending further examination.

The revelation of Udogie as the victim surfaced in Italy hours before Tottenham’s Champions League ‌match against Copenhagen ‌on Tuesday, where the defender⁣ started in the lineup. A Spurs spokesperson stated the club ⁣has been and will continue ​to provide support to Udogie ⁢and his family, but declined further comment due to the ongoing legal matter. The police ⁤investigation also revealed a ⁣separate ‍alleged blackmail​ and‍ threat incident involving another man in his 20s, reportedly by the ‍same individual.No injuries where ​reported in either ​case.

Police were initially called to reports of‍ a man in his 20s being threatened with a gun at 11:14 PM on September 6th. The⁣ investigation is ongoing.
