UConn Basketball Viewers Face New broadcast Landscape
STORRS, CT – UConn men’s and women’s basketball fans will navigate a substantially altered television and streaming schedule this season as the Big East Conference’s new six-year media rights deal with Fox Sports, NBC Sports, and TNT Sports takes effect. The change marks the end of regular-season coverage on ESPN and SNY for the 12-time national champion women’s team.
The shift means fans will need to utilize a wider range of platforms to follow the Huskies. Here’s a breakdown of how to catch UConn men’s and women’s basketball games this season:
UConn Women’s Basketball
Following a Dec. 2 game against South Florida on ESPN2, the UConn women will primarily appear on:
* FOX: Five games – vs. Michigan, at USC, vs. Iowa, Notre Dame, and Tennessee.
* FS1: Nine games.
* truTV: Eight games (four also simulcast on TNT).
* Peacock: Seven games.
* ESPN: Two games (the final two regular season games before the NCAA Tournament).
The entire Big East Tournament at Mohegan Sun Arena will be streamed exclusively on Peacock.
UConn Men’s Basketball
the UConn men’s season begins with a game against New Haven on Monday, streaming on ESPN+ (subscription required, starting at $12/month). Additional viewing options include:
