DEL MAR, CA​ – Peter Brant’s Gezora surged ⁣to victory⁢ in teh Maker’s Mark Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1T) at Del Mar Racetrack on Saturday, November 1, 2025, securing a commanding win‍ in ​the $2,000,000 race. The ⁢triumph marks a significant achievement for the 3-year-old filly and her connections,adding to a burgeoning career already highlighted by a Group 3 ‌victory.The win⁣ solidifies Gezora’s position ​as a leading contender in​ the Filly & Mare Turf division and represents a ample payday for Brant, who acquired the horse following her ​successful 2-year-old campaign. The Breeders’ Cup victory not only⁣ elevates Gezora’s‍ profile but also enhances the value of her pedigree, stemming from the Group 1-winning Silver Hawk mare Germance, who also produced stakes-placed winner ⁢Garance.

Gezora, trained by Francis-Henri Graffard and ridden by Mickael Barzalona, covered 1 3/8 miles on the turf course in ‍a winning‍ time ⁤that will ⁤be officially recorded.
