Eisleben Theater Announces Fall 2025 Lineup: Children’s play, Scottish Folk Music, and DEFA Film Series
Eisleben, Germany – Theater Eisleben unveiled its autumn 2025 program today, featuring a diverse range of performances including the world premiere of a children’s play, a guest concert by Scottish folk band Mànran, and a continuing series showcasing classic East German (DEFA) films. The season promises a blend of entertainment for all ages and a look back at cinematic history.
The program kicks off November 5th with Mànran, offering “powerful Celtic rhythms” and a whiskey tasting in the foyer. On November 20th, the theater will host the premiere of “What’s rattling in the box?” – a play for ages 3 and up exploring curiosity and courage.The DEFA film series, which began October 16th with “Banquet for achilles,” continues December 18th with “Still too skinny for love?” These events build on the theater’s commitment to providing cultural experiences for the community and attracting visitors to the region.
