Cole, alleging a ⁣breach of agreement regarding collaboration following ⁤Cam’ron’s⁤ feature on Cole’s 2023 track, “Ready ’24.” ‌The ‍suit, filed Tuesday (Oct.28), centers on a purported promise ⁢from Cole⁣ to⁣ reciprocate the collaboration, either through ‌a‌ guest verse on a Cam’ron song or an appearance on the rapper’s “it is indeed What It Is” podcast.

The dispute stems from Cam’ron’s contribution ⁢to⁣ “Ready ’24,” a track from ⁤J. Cole’s Might Delete Later ‌ mixtape,⁢ released in April 2023. According to the legal filing,⁣ the ‍initial collaboration took⁤ place in 2022. cam’ron asserts he‍ has not ⁤received⁤ payment for his work on the song. Beyond the unfulfilled collaboration, “Ready ’24” notably samples⁣ The Diplomats’ 2002 hit “I’m Ready,” produced by The Heatmakerz.
